  • Various approaches cater to individual needs and preferences, enhancing outcomes. Offering in-person or online sessions makes support more accessible, addressing barriers related to location, mobility, and scheduling. This multifaceted approach ensures mental health care is inclusive, adaptable, and effective.

  • At Ascendy Therapy, I currently accept credit cards. Upon payment, I provide an official receipt, which you may claim with your insurance provider.

    At Santé Group HealthCare, we accept debit cards, credit cards, e-transfers, and gift cards. For your convenience, we also offer direct billing, subject to your healthcare provider's approval.

    Gift cards can be easily purchased for loved ones or for yourself through the Jane App healthcare software online or in person at Santé Group.

  • In the various settings I provide, we will collaboratively explore solutions to your concerns within a supportive, inclusive, and nonjudgmental space, emphasizing your strengths and building on your past successes.

    In therapy, I tailor the approach to your unique circumstances and desired goals, incorporating a variety of modalities and interventions. These may include mindfulness, cognitive techniques, various art forms, and role-play.

    During Integrated Sensory Psychotherapy (ISP), I include deep breathing exercises and consented touch, such as vagus nerve stimulation, along with sensory experiences like sight, smell, hearing, taste, and touch.

    All approaches ensure that even when addressing deep-rooted issues, our sessions remain lighthearted and enjoyable.

  • Ascendy Therapy, owned and operated by me, provides exclusively online counselling services on a sliding scale.

    If you prefer in-person visits, I am available at Santé Group HealthCare in Pickering, ON, where you can choose from in-person or virtual psychotherapy treatments.

    Additionally, multidisciplinary healthcare services, including chiropractic, osteopathy, registered massage therapy, physiotherapy, and naturopathy, are also available.

  • As your therapist, I will never disclose your personal information without your express consent. However, there are situations where I am legally obligated to release your information without consent:

    • If there is suspected child abuse, neglect, dependent adult or elder abuse, or threats of serious bodily harm to oneself or others (suicide or homicide);

    • If your records are subpoenaed;

    • If there is suspected sexual abuse by a regulatory college member.

  • At Ascendy Therapy and Santé Group HealthCare, we use the Jane App to keep client data secure.

    This app guarantees full compliance with HIPAA, PIPEDA, and GDPR.

    For virtual therapy, I utilize Zoom for healthcare professionals to keep our sessions confidential.
